In New York City, in order to file a Plan/Work Application with the Department of Buildings, Asbestos Abatement Compliance must be addressed on line 20 (of the PW-1).
If the scope of work is NOT an Asbestos Project (as defined in the Regulations of the NYC DEP), a DEC ACP-5 may be filed by an Asbestos Investigator and a DEP Control # issued.
